János is the name partner and one of the founding members of our law firm. In his long career as an attorney, he actively participated as a codifier in the establishment of the Hungarian corporate and economic law.

As an attorney, he has significant experience in the legal handling of large transactions and, as client representative, in major commercial and arbitration disputes. During his career, he has served on the Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards of several major companies and financial institutions. He is currently a board member of a large public limited company. He taught economic and commercial law at the Budapest University of Economics and Business and at Corvinus University for 23 years. In his current work, he is mainly involved in the organization of transactional management and the handling of legal measures relating to generational handovers (such as trusts and wills concerning substantial assets).

In 2011 he was awarded with the Eötvös Károly Prize, established by the Budapest Bar Association for the recognition of the most outstanding lawyers.

János graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Lóránd University in 1971 and has been working as an attorney since 1973. He became a legal specialist in the field of commerce in 1988. He speaks German and English.
